W Harwood
W Harwood is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
W. Harwood spent years sketching backstage at concerts, trading quick charcoal lines for free tickets and instant coffee. He caught singers mid-note, not as polished portraits but as raw moments—flared nostrils, tangled bows, the way a soprano’s jaw tightens before a high C. Seek out his print *Jenny Lind*—the “Swedish Nightingale” looms in the frame, dress crumpling like sheet music, eyes half-closed in the middle of a phrase. Look close and you’ll see Harwood’s pencil cracks still trembling along her collarbone.
