James Stirling

James Stirling is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

James Stirling carried a big red sketchbook everywhere and drew buildings like they were alive—parts leaning, colors clashing, rooms that felt like a surprise. He flipped the usual rules: instead of hiding doors, he painted them bright red to make you notice. His Olivetti Training School, a zigzag of brick and glass in the English countryside, looks like a stack of colored blocks that somehow works. See it once and you’ll never trust a plain white wall again.
