Anastasia Kouvari

Greek artist Anastasia Kouvari makes bold glass sculptures and paintings that play with light and color. In 2005 she shaped *Persistence* from glass, letting shadows and reflections twist the piece as you move. Two years later she painted *portrait* in thick, flat colors that flatten the face into shapes instead of details. Without sticking to one style, her work sits outside movements, focusing on how simple forms catch the eye.
