Artist

William Oram

William Oram is a Romanticism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

William Oram made English landscape prints in the late 1700s, when artists often etched views of rural estates and public parks. One print shows London’s Green Park on 11 October 1816, capturing carriages, trees, and distant spires in careful line. Another sheet in the same series turns the English countryside into a web of hedgerows and footpaths. If you like these orderly, topographical scenes, tap Green Park to see it up close, or try searching the tag “English landscape” for more prints from the same period.
