Margaret Leischner
Margaret Leischner is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Margaret Leischner kept a tiny set of colored pencils in her coat pocket and sketched waiting rooms and hospital corridors on the back of appointment cards. She had a habit of tucking the finished scraps into her own medical files, as if to prove the world was still full of details worth noticing. Look up her 1927–31 “Untitled” drawings—thin ink lines that somehow carry the weight of a whole day in just three inches of paper.
