Diana Taylor
Diana Taylor is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Diana Taylor made bold, graphic prints in the early 2010s, stacking sharp shapes into rhythmic patterns. In *Shatter* (2011) a fractured grid seems to splinter across the paper, while *Up and Over* (2010) sends overlapping bars leaping upward like a half-remembered highway sign. Both prints trade soft edges for hard contrasts, using flat color to push the eye across stacked planes. See how the ink bleeds slightly where the screens meet—Taylor leaves that trace on purpose. Look next at *Up and Over*, where a single slice of cadmium red cuts through the grey.
