Romanian painter Elena Constante left two small cityscapes: Peisaj bucureștean shows quiet streets near the Dâmbovița River and Peisaj cu oraș de munte captures terra-cotta roofs stacked against the Carpathians. Both works are oil on canvas and date from the 1950s–1960s, when she lived in Bucharest and painted outdoors whenever weather allowed.
