J.T. Barber

J.T. Barber is a Romanticism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Printmaker of early 1800s London, J.T. Barber made crisp, ink-on-paper portraits and scenes meant to be slipped into albums or framed on a parlor wall. The only title we have is *H Beard Print Collection (4th June 1805)*, a single sheet of finely etched faces and fashions. If you like the look of engraved celebrity cards or fashion plates, tap into the same album and you’ll find more black-and-white prints from the same year.
