J. Allan Cash is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

J. Allan Cash carried a Rolleiflex everywhere, even to the Yucatán jungles where he’d crouch in the heat waiting for the light to hit the serpent carvings at Chichén Itzá just right. His black-and-white prints make the stone feel alive, shadows pooling like ink. Look up Serpent’s Heads at Chichenitsa: the way the heads twist toward the camera, you’ll swear they’re about to slither off the pyramid.
