Anna Marouda

Anna Marouda is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.

Anna Marouda’s 1960s works blend drawing and metalwork into clean, geometric studies. In 1963 she cut and bent sheet metal into “Composition,” a spare wall sculpture that folds like origami under light, while her “Outdoor study” drawings from the same year map the same shapes in ink on paper. These pieces sit between sculpture and drawing—flat planes become volume, lines stay lines. Tap “Composition (1964)” to see how the metal catches shadows and shifts with your angle.
