Artist
Madhav
Madhav is a Renaissance artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Madhav worked in the late sixteenth century, painting scenes that survive only as untitled works from around 1590. Without a movement label, their brushwork sits close to the refined, layered style of the Mughal atelier, where artists often recorded court life and nature side by side. Tap Untitled (ca. 1590) to see one of these delicate leaves and figures, then scroll to the era label for more artists from the same moment.
