Angelica Kauffman is a Romanticism artist. 3 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Angelica Kauffman had a habit of signing her paintings with a tiny heart made of three dots. She painted sweeping scenes from ancient myths, but her real gift was making women in powdered wigs look alive. She left her native Switzerland for London, where she painted portraits of everyone from dukes to little girls. See how she painted a young girl in a straw hat in *The Artist’s Daughter* (1775)—it’s on the walls at the Royal Academy.
