Georgali Fotini

Georgali Fotini is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.

Georgali Fotini shaped metal into stark, geometric heads in the late 1960s, working in Greece when welded sculpture was moving out of the studio and into public space. Their two titled pieces, Head from 1967 and Head from 1968, are ridged, angular forms that catch light like industrial totems. A third sheet, Outdoor study from 1969, is a quick graphite sketch that feels like a pause between welds. Tap Outdoor study to see how the same head idea first took shape on paper.
