A German artist from the 17th–18th century, Joseph Huber painted religious scenes in the Baroque tradition. His painting “Christ on the Mount of Olives” (“Christus am Ölberg”) shows the moment in the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus prays while his disciples sleep.
