Artist
Freya Payne
Freya Payne is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Freya Payne wore a single silver ring, engraved with a tiny house, on her right hand for twenty years. She never explained why, but her prints often feature delicate, fractured lines that trace the edges of things—like a half-remembered doorway or a memory dissolving. That’s why her 1996 piece *Bruise* sticks: it looks like a shadow you’ve seen in the corner of your eye, bleeding into the paper. Tap *Bruise* to trace those edges yourself.
