Artist

Jai Kishan

Jai Kishan is a Rococo painting artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Jai Kishan spent his life tucked inside Jaipur’s royal ateliers, sketching ragas on scrap paper between commissions. His Sri Raga feels like a musical score you can see: peacocks freeze mid-dance, saffron petals spell out notes, and the pink city’s walls blush in the background. Slide to the right edge and you’ll find the tiny signature—one letter slanted like a descending melody.
