Battersea Prints (Community) Workshop

Battersea Prints (Community) Workshop is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

In the late 1980s, this London collective made bold, colorful screenprints on everyday themes. Their 1988 Untitled shows a busy street corner alive with flat shapes and bright inks, while their ca. 1985–1991 Untitled turns a sunset over the Thames into glowing stripes and patches. These prints belong to a grassroots tradition where local artists shared skills and ideas in workshops. Tap either print to see how they turned simple scenes into eye-catching posters.
