Robert Heritage
Robert Heritage is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Robert Heritage liked to map spaces on paper the way architects do—except his plans were more like puzzles made of rooms and doorways. He drew floor layouts, overlaid them, and left the doors open. One sheet from 1968 shows a house turned inside out, walls floating like ghosts between floors. His drawings feel like instructions you’re meant to keep guessing. Tap “Interior ground plans,” 1968, to trace the lines yourself; you’ll see doors that don’t quite line up and rooms that keep shifting.
