Artist
Nigel Ellis
Nigel Ellis is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Nigel Ellis never liked talking about his drawings—he’d rather sit in a quiet room with a charcoal stick and let his hand wander until the page filled. His 2005 piece *Rest* looks like a nap in graphite: a curled figure, limbs loose, breathing slow. The edges blur just enough to feel like you’re standing outside the door, unsure whether to knock. If you’ve ever doodled on a napkin while waiting for coffee, this is the grown-up version.
