Artist
Siola Eleni
Siola Eleni is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.
Siola Eleni spent her days sketching in the same Athens park bench for years, turning the same olive tree into a different conversation every morning. She left no artist’s statement, no manifesto—just hundreds of drawings that feel like love letters to a tree she never named. You’ll find her in the quiet corner of Greek modernism between the loud guys: look for the 1968 “Outdoor study” tucked beside a Klee print in the print room—it’s the one that looks like the tree forgot its own shape by lunch.
