Artist

John Yenn

John Yenn is a Romanticism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

John Yenn turned out crisp furniture drawings in the late 1700s, lines so clean they look stamped. His 1780 Design for a side table shows four slender legs joined by a delicate stretcher—no carving, no fuss, just geometry you could build tomorrow. These sheets were passed among cabinetmakers like blueprints, each line meant to be copied, cut, and screwed together. Flip next to Yenn’s drawing and squint at those exact joints before they vanish under mahogany.
