Boning & Small is an Impressionism artist. 3 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Boning & Small spent their days lurking backstage, clipboard in hand, snapping photos of actors mid-breath. They never signed their prints—just the stage door—because the show itself mattered more than the name in the corner. One of their Guy Little theater shots from 1882 still hangs in the Garrick Club archives, catching an actress mid-laugh, her collar loose, the gaslight flickering on her sleeve.
