Lamprou Spyros
Lamprou Spyros is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.
Greek artist Spyros Lamprou shaped bronze and steel into everyday scenes and figures in the 1950s. He turned Porto Rafti’s shoreline into looping metal lines in 1959, and earlier cast Galatsi’s rolling landscape in 1956. His studio pieces—heads, a semi-nude, and a daughter’s portrait—show the same direct, working-hand feel. Tap any of these metal works to feel the weight of a mid-century gaze.
