Litho de Rigo Frères

Litho de Rigo Frères is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Litho de Rigo Frères left behind stacks of Paris street scenes on cheap paper, printed fast and sold even faster. They ran a tiny print shop near Montmartre where artists dropped off odd jobs between real gigs. One day you might see a café sign, the next a cat perched on a windowsill—all in the same week. They belong in Gallery Tiles because their “Rue Lepic at Dawn” still hangs above a bakery door on that sloping street; tilt your head and you’ll spot the exact lamppost.
