Romanian printmaker Constantin Isachie Popescu captured everyday scenes in black-and-white. His 1906 print *Curte interioară* shows a quiet courtyard with laundry strung between buildings, while *Flori (lalele)* prints delicate tulips in a simple, bold style. In between, his textile *Pod (peste) Tamisa* weaves a Thames bridge into fabric with clean lines. Slide over to *Flori (lalele)* to see how he turned common flowers into striking prints.
