Amy E. Fisher

Amy E. Fisher is an Impressionism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Amy Fisher spent her days walking the same path along the Thames, sketchbook in hand, pausing to capture the Deanery’s crooked chimneys and the way the light hit the west-facing wall at 3:17 p.m. every clear afternoon. Her 1883 watercolor of the Deanery makes Westminster feel like a village where you could still knock on the front door and ask for directions. If you’ve ever stood on Millbank and squinted across the river at Parliament’s gothic shadows, you’ll recognize the view she tucked into the corner of her paper.
