Pavlos Vasileiades
Pavlos Vasileiades is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Metropolitan Organisation of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki – MOMus.
Pavlos Vasileiades must have spent half his life standing on the same Greek headland, sketching the same jagged rocks in changing light. He turned those cliffs into something almost musical, not by smoothing out their edges but by letting every fracture sing. If you’ve ever stood on a sunlit shore and felt the stones hum, look up his 1990 painting “Βράχια”—it’s the color of hot noon and salt wind, and it still hangs in the little gallery on Hydra where he once traded sketches for ouzo.
