Louis Roger

Louis Roger is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at National Museum of Art of Romania.

Louis Roger kept a small set of copper plates in his Paris apartment and etched them after midnight when the city was quiet. He turned everyday scenes—like women at their dressing tables—into crisp, almost graphic prints that feel like snapshots but aren't. You can still find his 1920 print La toaletă tucked inside vintage Paris guidebooks on the shelf marked “Art Nouveau posters.”
