Artist
Felicity Powell
Felicity Powell is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
A medallist in the quiet British tradition, Felicity Powell shaped metal and wax into small, precise reliefs. In 2002 she turned a commission for the John Charles Robinson Medal into a miniature landscape of raised curves and inscribed initials. She also etched a delicate drawing for the V&A’s 150th-anniversary album and carved a wax relief titled Thinking Tree in 2005. Tap Thinking Tree to see how wax can hold the light like carved sunlight.
