Stephen Walter

Stephen Walter is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Stephen Walter once drew the entire London Underground from memory, just to see what he’d missed. His 2006 print *Similands* turns maps into a patchwork of tiny, hand-drawn worlds—every suburb becomes its own story, every cul-de-sac a character. Look up *Similands* and zoom in; you’ll spot a street named after his cat, or a park where he ate his lunch. The map becomes a diary, and suddenly the city feels like a place you could wander forever.
