Michael Agraniotis

Michael Agraniotis is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.

Michael Agraniotis had a habit of turning metal into something soft. He took sheets of steel and bent, cut, and folded them until they looked like drifting clouds or rows of wheat—no hammering, just careful pressure. In 1956 he made *Synthesis*, a wall piece that catches light like water does, so the room seems to ripple when you walk past. Piece like that sits somewhere between sculpture and drawing, easy to like but hard to put in a box—perfect for Gallery Tiles.
