You’ll find Dupont tucked in the corner of every old Paris photo shop, where actors’ headshots yellowed in stacks. She lined up the same wrought-iron balcony behind them all—nervous smiles, stiff collars, one hand always gripping a prop sword—so the light on the faces could do the acting instead. Slide past the velvet ropes and peer at Guy Little Theatrical Photograph; you’ll spot the tiny shadow of the photographer herself, reflected in the lens. Dupont never signed the prints, but she left her ghost in every glare.
