Celda Kloucek

Celda Kloucek is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

This woman carried a tiny camera everywhere, shooting black-and-white snippets of everyday life in 1950s Prague—shopfronts, faces in trams, half-caught gestures. She framed each scene so the edges felt unfinished, as if life were still rolling past the frame. Look up her Untitled photograph from 1955: a curtain half-drawn, a man’s back at a café table, the light pooling on the floor like a question.
