Beatrice Mary Victoria Feodore

Beatrice Mary Victoria Feodore is an Impressionism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Beatrice Mary Victoria Feodore painted delicate watercolours of ancient sites she visited in the early 1900s. Her brush tracked the sandstone walls and shadows of Egypt, turning columns and courtyards into quiet, exact scenes. One piece, Near Karnak (1903–04), shows the temple precinct at dusk where light catches the carved hieroglyphs. Close-up brushstrokes let you feel the dry heat and the age of the stones.
