Artist

William Brock

William Brock is an Impressionism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

William Brock painted gentle landscapes in watercolor, mostly scenes of the French countryside around the turn of the last century. He left a small album of quiet fields and cottages, like the 1895–1911 sheet titled Ma Campagne, where soft greens and blues fold into one another under a mellow sky. This quiet corner of the era is worth a look if you like the delicate touch of late-century watercolor. Swipe to see Ma Campagne up close.
