Artist

Cesari Mariannecci

Cesari Mariannecci is an Impressionism artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Cesari Mariannecci kept a studio in Rome where she turned Greek myths and Bible stories into prints that looked like drawings. She etched light and shadow so carefully that the figures almost breathe. Try finding her *Poets on Mount Parnassus*—tiny figures sit on a sunlit cliff, each one distinct, as though you could step into the scene. The print is small enough to tuck in a book, yet it feels like a whole world.
