David CBE Jones
David CBE Jones is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
British artist David Jones made pencil and watercolour studies of people and places in the early 1920s. His 1926 pencil sketch “Study of a standing nude” shows a careful outline of the body, while the 1927 watercolour “No.1 Elm Row” captures a row of brick houses with muted blues and ochres. Both sheets sit in the quiet zone between academic drawing and topographical reportage. Tap “No.1 Elm Row” to step inside its sunlit alleyway.
