Peter Tschan
Peter Tschan is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Archaeology and Museum Baselland.
Peter Tschan liked to paint in his studio above a bakery, where the smell of fresh bread crept upstairs and stuck to the canvas. He made paintings that looked like they’d been wiped with a rag before the paint dried, leaving behind patches of color that never quite settled. Try it yourself—pick up a tube of cadmium red and drag it across raw linen like you’re erasing something, just to see how much paint you can leave behind.
