Rhea-Silvia Radu
Rhea-Silvia Radu is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Brukenthal National Museum.
Bucharest-based painter Rhea-Silvia Radu made small, quietly observant oils of daily life. Two of her works here are the 1973 portrait Ancuța cu lucrul, showing a woman at a loom with thread caught in lamplight, and Colegul from the same year, a peer at a drafting table whose pencil shadows stretch across newspaper clippings. A third canvas shows a corner café table still set with half-drunk coffee after closing time. Tap Colegul to step into Radu’s calm, nearly empty rooms where work and light do the talking.
