She carries a tiny Leica in her coat pocket and snaps pictures of stray cats, cracked sidewalks, and neon signs half-melted by rain. One afternoon she left the lens cap on by accident and kept shooting anyway; the resulting blurry greens and purples became her signature fuzz.
