Lena Kakouri-Brazizs always carried a tiny sketchbook in her pocket, even on the steep climb up to the Acropolis at dawn. She’d sit there for hours, watching the light change over Athens while the city woke up. Her paintings of the view are so quiet you can almost hear the cicadas.
