Paul Degen

Paul Degen is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Archaeology and Museum Baselland.

Paul Degen painted Swiss scenes with a dry, playful line. His 1960s canvas “Zwei Baselstäbe trinkend” shows two figures clinking glasses—simple shapes, almost like a child’s drawing. Another untitled work uses the same flat colors and everyday subjects. He worked in the 20th and 21st centuries, mostly in Switzerland. Tap his work “Ohne Titel” to see more of his spare, graphic style.
