Ary Johannes Lamme is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Ary Johannes Lamme kept a tiny studio above a cheese shop in Amsterdam, where he painted quiet corners of everyday life. He was obsessed with windows—not as frames, but as invisible doors between inside and out. You’ll recognize his trick: he’d paint the same view from two angles, one sunlit, one shadowed, then hang them side-by-side so the light seems to move across the wall. His trick works best in Meditation: A Lady Looking out of a Window—tap it to watch how the sky outside shifts while her calm face stays still.
