Bartolomeo Passerotti
Bartolomeo Passerotti is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at National Museum of Art of Romania.
A Bologna street portraitist who loved cluttery still lifes and nosy neighbors, Passerotti swapped the brush for a gossip’s notebook between commissions. He’d pile onions next to lace collars just to see how the light bounced off both. The painting you tap first is *Portrait of a Noblewoman and her Son*: the kid looks bored, the mother looks like she’s calculating lunch portions. If you like that bulb-and-lace combo, slide into Caravaggio’s fruit baskets next.
