Dorette Huegin

Dorette Huegin is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Archaeology and Museum Baselland.

Dorette Huegin kept a small studio above a bakery in Berlin, where the smell of fresh rye bread drifted up through the floorboards and stuck to her oil paints. She liked to paint the same corner of the room for months at a time, tweaking shadows and angles until the scene felt like a second home. A friend once joked that her canvases were "time-lapse diaries."
