Buckler

Buckler is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Buckler made a career of hand-painting every brick and ivy leaf in England’s country houses. He was the quiet guy who carried a brush in his coat pocket and sketched on napkins between train stops. His watercolors are so exact you can count the panes in Redgrave Hall’s windows—every peeling window frame, every shadow on the lawn. Look up Redgrave Hall; you’ll swear you’ve walked past it yourself.
