Artist

David Ginsbourg

David Ginsbourg is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

David Ginsbourg snapped the same gritty Chicago street corner for years, always at 3PM, camera on a tripod, waiting for life to wander into the frame. He never titled the photos, letting the city do the talking. You can still stand on that sidewalk—corner of Clark and Division—where his tripod dents are visible in the concrete. Why he’s here: pull up *Untitled (Photograph)* and zoom in; the third window from the left hides a man who’s been watching Ginsbourg the whole time.
