H. Burch

H. Burch is a Romanticism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

H. Burch made 19th-century British prints that sat on tavern walls and shop counters—cheap, bold, easy to hang. One impression survives today: the 1805 print H Beard Collection, a crisp engraving of a red-coated huntsman blowing his horn. Collectors later stamped the same copper plate for decades, so identical images kept turning up in London print shops near Covent Garden. Tap H Beard Print Collection to see the exact line that rolled off the press in 1805.
