Richard Beer

Richard Beer is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

This drawer used sheets of paper and black ink to make flat, uncaptioned works on paper in the 1970s. Try their 1975 Untitled sheet: a single sheet of paper, turned horizontal, shows a single black rectangle near the left edge and a few loose, horizontal lines toward the right. The sheet stays blank outside those marks, letting the quiet arrangement speak for itself. To see more mid-century sheets like this, tap Untitled.
