Anastasiadou Ourania

Anastasiadou Ourania is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.

Greek artist Ourania Anastasiadou built a small but precise body of prints anchored in the real world. In 1990 she made Port, a dry-point etching that turns harbor hardware—ropes, buoys, winches—into rhythmic black-and-white patterns. The plate’s fine lines suggest light glancing off metal, yet the scene stays quietly concrete: a slice of waterfront life captured on a single sheet of paper. Tap Port to zoom in on the etching’s delicate cross-hatching and see how a snapshot of a dock can become a meditation on texture and reflection.
